What is Texas Two Step?

Texas Two Step is a game of chance that can be played anytime during the evening. The player buys one ticket and then selects two numbers from 1-39 on a printed grid. If both numbers are drawn, the player wins $1 million! If only one number is drawn, they win $10,000.

How to Choose Winning Numbers

The first step in selecting winning numbers is to choose a strategy. There are many different strategies for selecting winning numbers, but they all have the same goal: to increase your chances of winning by picking the most likely combinations of numbers.

One popular method is called “random number generation.” This involves choosing random digits from 0 through 9, then adding them up until you get a sum that ends with a certain number (usually 5). For example, if we were trying to win $5 on scratch-off tickets and wanted our sum to finish in 7, we would add up all of our digits until we hit that target number–in this case: 2 + 4 + 6 + 9 = 21; 1 + 2 = 3; 3 x 5 = 15; 1 + 5 = 6; 6 x 7 = 42; 4 x 2 = 8

Another option would be picking two sets of five numbers at random from 0 through 9 (one group should be odd-numbered) and then adding them together until you get another set that adds up as desired–for example, 0 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10; 5 x 10 = 50
